København

Delft, sun, warm

The weather is as good here as it was in Copenhague, but dark clouds are announced (probably the ones we saw arriving just before we left the Danish capital and that are chasing us...). In the plane back I discussed with a lady who also went to CPH for a long week-end with friends. We compared our toes and suncream experience: while we went to buy suncream (she had brought some), her friends and her had a hard time finding plasters for their toes (haha! I am happy to always have some in my bag!). Like well-educated ladies, we also complained about shoes, making up good theories on how our sensitive skin protested against the sudden change of temperature by making blisters.
Copenhague is a lovely city (a city is always lovely in good compagny!) with loads of økologisk æblesaft (applejuice), økologisk pølser (sausages) and (non-økologisk) is (icecream). Sushis were not bad either...
Our scientific study on grass lead to the conclusion that the grass is as green and as soft in CPH as in any other country, and that those flowers we sneakily got in our hair, T-shirts and between our toes were either daisies (Christiane), camilla (Nastya) or marguerites (me).
Tivoli was fun (yeah Christiane!), and the little mermaid looked sadely towards the ocean while Nastya tried to climb on her. Other notable facts: Cyril's camera bag was twice as big as the little bag where he put his spare T-shirt and toothbrush and Thijs proved to be a skilled mosquito-killer: he had to wash the stains on the ceiling with some kitchen-borrowed dishwashing liquid, standing in equilibrium on the huge inflatable bed that was making scarry peeping sounds...
