There was a small documentary on the french news about the guys that are currently in the space station (ESA) somewhere far above our heads... The journalists were asking them questions about what they are supposed to do there. A very legitimate question, I think, but WHY didn't they ask them that BEFORE they left??
How much does this stupid far-distant call cost??

Why oh why oh why does soooo much money get spent on this stuff when so much more needs to be done more immediatly here on EARTH! (It drives me mad, you'd never guess ;-))
